Mayer & Cie. will participate in the virtual trade fair Innovate Textile and Apparel from 15 to 30 October 2020. Their exhibit will focus on circular knitting machines producing mattress covers as well as double jersey and Relanit models.

The measures undertaken to contain the spread of Covid-19 have led to downturns in the German engineering industry. Yet, “there are a few markets keeping up some of their regular activities while observing strict measures to contain the corona pandemic”, says Sales Director Wolfgang Müller.

This year’s ITM textile machinery fair is scheduled for 14 to 18 July in Istanbul. It was postponed due to the spread of the coronavirus and the July dates are by no means certain, but Mayer & Cie. (MCT) is still going ahead with preparations.

Due to the corona crisis, circular knitting machine manufacturer Mayer & Cie. is now producing its circular knitting and braiding machines by working in two shifts. Administration is also pursuing a two-part strategy.
