As part of the IHK Innovation Days, Mayer & Cie. Global took part in the “Textile Region Neckar-Alb” exhibition hosted by Groz-Beckert in early July 2026. Together with around ten other companies from the regional textile industry, we presented our company to more than 100 guests. Visitors included representatives of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), industry associations, universities and numerous experts from across the textile sector. Each participating company introduced its key areas of expertise and current activities through a short presentation and an exhibition stand.
The response to our participation was overwhelmingly positive – both from our hosts, led by Groz-Beckert Executive Board member Jan Jetter, and from the many visitors. One message became particularly clear in the conversations we had: there is a significant difference between reading a newspaper article about the restart of Mayer & Cie. Global and speaking directly with someone who is actively shaping it. Many visitors remarked on the conviction, confidence and positive spirit with which our team is driving the company’s new beginning. That sends an important signal not only to our region, but also to the textile industry as a whole.
