This year also marks a special anniversary for Mayer & Cie. Global’s Brazilian representative: MBR celebrates its tenth anniversary.
Led by Frank Bernhard and Fabrício Rampani, MBR today represents a number of renowned textile machinery manufacturers in Brazil. Its growing team provides customers with local expertise and close support in one of the world’s important textile markets.
The relationship between Mayer & Cie. and the Brazilian organization, however, reaches back much further than ten years. It began in 1958 with the establishment of Mayer do Brasil, the first foreign subsidiary in Mayer & Cie.’s history. Emil Mayer, who played an important role in the international development of the company, was instrumental in taking this step.
In 2016, the former subsidiary became the independent representative MBR. Today, the partnership combines decades of shared experience in the Brazilian market with a strong local presence.
