The Relanit 1.6 E knits single jersey electronic jacquard featuring 3-way technology. Almost any structure is easily achieved on this machine. That is particularly true for mesh and bodymapping. The former is a net-like hole pattern with a colourless substrate. Bodymapping makes use of two-end plating producing fabric patterns that acknowledge the human body‘s different transpiration zones.
The Relanit 1.6 E combines advantages of two of Mayer & Cie.‘s signature technologies, namely electronic single needle selection and relative technology.
That makes the machine a popular choice for producing fabrics for swimwear, outerwear and functional wear for sports and leisure activities as well as underwear and nightwear. It is also widely used in the home textiles and automotive segment.
