Diese Bildungspartnerschaft, an der auch die Firmen SMS, Carl Meiser und die Flaschnerei Neumann beteiligt sind, soll den Schülern den direkten Einblick in die Ausbildung und das spätere Arbeitsleben ermöglichen.
Themenschwerpunkte bei Mayer & Cie. sind unter anderem Betriebsführungen und die Durchführung von Betriebspraktika für interessierte Schüler.

Mayer & Cie. aiming for 1000 circular knitting machines in 2010
Albstadt/Germany: Mayer & Cie.’s newly formed management board is more than pleased with this year’s business development. The traditional, family-run business will realize a turnover of more than 60 million EURO in 2010 and will thereby deliver close to 1000 circular knitting machines. More than 150 of them are fully electronic jacquard machines and underline the claim to technological leadership of the company located in the Southern part of Germany. This is the reason why Mayer & Cie. GmbH & Co. KG with their subsidiaries in the key markets China and Brazil as well as the worldwide sales and service network continues to be global market leader both in technology as well as in turnover in the circular knitting machinery sector.
