The wide fabric weight adjustment range is simply and precisely accessed by means of central height setting and precision adjustment through vertical stitch-forming. A special method used für insertion of the lay-in thread turns the SF4-3.2 into a reliable specialist act even when it comes to manufacturing light-weight elastic fleece fabrics.
Its extreme flexibility is extended still further by its simple facility for conversion to a type S4-3.2 for single jersey and structures. Mayer & Cie. makes this process simplicity itself by offering a low-cost conversion kit.
Needles and sinkers are standard knitting elements which can be replaced at reasonable cost. The portal frame with its capacity for 480 mm fabric rolls (deflection winder mechanism) comes as standard. The range also includes an optional folding device.
To prevent permanent creasing, particularly with sensitive yarns, Mayer & Cie. offers an open-width device for 280 mm fabric rolls. |
