Simply greater productivity!
Mayer & Cie. at the Bandung-Tex
from June 12-16 2002.
For Mayer & Cie., Indonesia represents a major market, whose significance is clearly demonstrated by the existence of the company's own subsidiary in the region to take care of customer advice, servicing and sale of Mayer & Cie. circular knitting machines.
The company Mayer & Cie. Indonesia is based in Bandung, the biggest centre of the textile industry in West Java. This company will be represented at the Bandung-Tex with its own trade fair stand, exhibiting three circular knitting machines whose output and versatility provide an outstanding example of high-performance knitting technology.
The decisive benefits of relative movement technology have long since become an established feature in the field of single jersey machines - primarily because the gentle treatment of the yarn is ideal for reliable high-performance machine operation.
The Relanit 3.2, which will be on show at the Bandung-Tex in a 36" version, is the ultimate high-performance machine. It is the culmination of experience gained at Mayer & Cie. in the construction of almost 4000 Relanit circular knitting machines. In Indonesia alone, more than 400 machines featuring Relanit technology have been sold.
The Relanit 3.2 is the basic machine for the production of single jersey and 4-needle structures as well as fully plated single jersey in every circular knitting factory. With the Relanit 3.2, fewer faults in the fabric, reliable processing, a higher working speed and optimum fabric quality - also and particularly in the case of plated fabric using elastomer yarns - all add up to the achievement of outstanding productivity. Material costs are suppressed decisively by the use of simpler yarn qualities, fewer faults in the fabric and an ingenious design feature which prevents oily lint from gaining access to the area of the fabric tube. These benefits make the Relanit 3.2 simply more productive and favourable in terms of cost.
The Inovit 2.0 II QC benefits from the same characterristics in the production of double jersey constructions through to rib. Maximum productivity coupled with the lowest possible input - which has to add up to a competitive advantage. The Inovit 2.0 II QC is extremely user-friendly and undemanding in everyday operation. Its reliability - particularly in the ongoing stress of multiple-shift production - is much appreciated by circular knitting factories. But this ease of operation does not come at the cost of flexibility: Ten constructions as standard and supplementary exchange cams offer an enormously broad construction spectrum. And the Quick-Change facility allows the fast, easy changeover of gauge ranges - all at a production volume to set new standards. At a speed of max. 1.4 m/s or 35 rpm with 62 feeders, the Inovit II 2.0 QC is capable of kniting for instance over 40 running metres of E20 double pique an hour. Needless to say, all in the customary Mayer & Cie. quality standard - which also pays dividends during normal or elastomer plating. In Bandung, Mayer & Cie. will be exhibiting the highest-performance version of the Inovit 2.0 II QC with 34" diameter, 70 feeders and gauge E18.
With the MV 4-3.2, Mayer & Cie. will be providing impressive proof that fashion orientation and high output do not have be mutually exclusive objectives. From body widths up to 34" diameter, this is an allround, high-performance circular knitting machine for single jersey, 2 or 4-needle structures, crepe, two-thread fleece and of course plated single jersey. In Bandung, it will be on show with a 34" diameter and 108 feeders in a gauge E28 version. With this much power behind it, the MV 4-3.2 achieves an impressive continuous speed of max. 1.3 m/s. 4 needle types and, depending on the cam, 3 needle positions make for a wide range of different constructions. Whether in body widths or for mass production with up to 34" and 108 feeders - the MV 4-3.2 is the reliable performance machine for single jersey fabrics - high in productivity, versatile in terms of its construction variety and favourable in price.
In Bandung, Mayer & Cie. will be demonstrating the MV 3-2.4 with the fabric-open device, which takes care of even fabric take-down, cutting and opening without the slightest distortion, and winds the fabric up again afterwards just as evenly. All the while, the electronic take-down EPA can be adjusted and reproduced at the display, so permitting 100% positive take-down - no creases, no distortion and a precise cut while taking overall optimum care of the fabric. Mayer & Cie. is setting a whole new standard when it comes to fabric opening technology.
Costs well under control, high productivity without compromising on top fabric quality - Mayer & Cie. circular knitting machines comply perfectly with the stringent demands essential to a successful future in the field of knitting technology.
All simply adding up to greater productivity &endash; with Mayer & Cie. at the Bandung-Tex from June 12 - 16, 2002.
