Bandung-Tex in Indonesia a resounding success for Mayer & Cie.
Mayer & Cie., the world's number one manufacturer of circular knitting machines, was represented at the Bandung-Tex with a highly informative trade fair presentation from June 12-16, 2002. The fair turned out to be a resounding success for Mayer & Cie..
There were 4 circular knitting machines on show, each of them offering outstanding output and versatility as examples of high productivity in the kniting factory. The Relanit 3.2, on show at the Bandung-Tex in a 36" version, is the ultimate in high-performance knitting machines. It comes with the benefit of Mayer & Cie.'s experience gathered in the construction of almost 4000 completed Relanit circular knitting machines. More than 400 machines featuring Relanit technology have been sold In Indonesia alone.
The Inovit 2.0 II QC demonstrates the same characteristics for double jersey structures through to rib. Maximum productivity coupled with minimal outlay - this is a formula to provide a major competitive advantage. The Inovit 2.0 II QC offers outstanding operator simplicity and ease of maintenance, and its reliability under the continuous stress of multiple shift operation is highly appreciated by circular knitters everywhere. But still the machine does not compromise on flexibility, with ten constructions as standard and supplementary exchange cams offering enormously broad scope for different constructions. And Quick-Change additionally allows fast, simple changeover of gauge ranges.
Mayer & Cie. provides impressive proof of the fact that fashion orientation and high output need not be mutually exclusive with its MV 4-3.2. From body-widths to 48" diameter, this is the allround versatile and high-performance circular knitting machine for single jersey, 2 or 4-needle structures, crepe, single laid-in and naturally single plated.
Bodysize is currently fully in vogue. High volume production of circular knitted bodywidths - none offers greater speed, versatility or lower cost here than the IV 2.0. It knits double jersey structures, interlock, rib and plated fabrics, combining high productivity with minimum expense. The IV 2.0 was demonstrated at the Bandung-Tex with a 16" diameter in gauge E20.
Whether in body widths or for mass production with up to 34" and 108 feeders - the MV 4-3.2 is the ultimate high-performance, reliable machine for single jersey structures - high in productivity, versatile in terms of constructions and favourable in price. In Bandung, Mayer & Cie. exhibited the MV 4-3.2 with its fabric open device which evenly and efficiently takes down, cuts and opens the knited fabric tube and then just as evenly winds it back up.
During this whole process, the electronic fabric takedown EPA provides facility for display adjustment and permits settings to be accurately reproduced at any time, as well as permitting 100% positive takedown. No creases, no distortion and a precise cut, all the time ensuring maximum care of the fabric: Mayer & Cie. has broken whole new ground in the field of fabric opening technology.
The lively interest demonstrated by visitors was reflected not only by the consistently high number of visitors to the Mayer & Cie. stand. The subsidiary Mayer & Cie. Indonesia, which is based in Bandung, is anticipating a good influx of knock-on business from the show.
